CCTV cameras like most electronics are warm from being powered 24 hours a day. This makes it an ideal heat pad for spiders especially over the winter months. It is recommended to clean your camera lenses every 3-6 months to ensure full and clear video footage from your cameras. A Connected Homes technician will come to your home and clean your cameras and check system software is up to date. For cameras that require recharging, our Connected Homes technician will take the camera down to charge and return the next day to reinstall it.
